Fabricate your stone using most advanced machinery

CAD Drawings and Design: The process begins with detailed CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings. These drawings are critical as they provide the exact specifications and dimensions of the countertops. They include intricate details like the size, shape, edge profiles, and cutouts for sinks or fixtures. This precision in design ensures that the final product fits perfectly in its intended space.

5-Axis CNC Saw Technology: The Italian-made 5-axis CNC (Computer Numerical Control) saw is at the heart of this operation. Unlike traditional 3-axis machines, a 5-axis saw can move in five different directions. This allows for complex cuts and shapes to be made with a single machine. The additional axes enable the saw to make angled cuts and intricate shapes that would be impossible or very time-consuming with a traditional saw.

Edge Finishing and Detailing: After the main cutting process, the countertops may go through additional processes for edge finishing and detailing. The CNC saw can also perform these tasks, applying various edge profiles like beveled, rounded, or bullnose edges.

Quality Control: Throughout the process, quality control checks are essential. This might involve measuring the cut pieces to ensure they match the CAD specifications and inspecting the quality of the cut, including the smoothness of the edges and the overall finish.

Final Installation: Once the countertops are cut and finished, they are ready for installation. The precision of the cutting process ensures a perfect fit, reducing the need for adjustments during installation.

Material Handling: The process typically starts with a large slab of material, which could be granite, marble, quartz, or other stone suitable for countertops. These slabs are carefully placed on the CNC saw's bed using specialized lifting and handling equipment to ensure safety and precision.

Precision Cutting: The CNC saw, guided by the CAD drawings, then precisely cuts the slab according to the specified dimensions. Its high level of accuracy (often down to fractions of a millimeter) ensures that each piece of the countertop is exactly as designed. The saw can make straight cuts, curved cuts, and even complex 3D shapes, providing great versatility in countertop design.

Speed and Efficiency: One of the key advantages of using an automated 5-axis CNC saw, especially one that's Italian-made, is its speed and efficiency. These machines can cut through slabs quickly, significantly reducing the time it takes to produce a countertop compared to manual methods. This efficiency is crucial in large-scale or time-sensitive projects.

Precise Placement and Alignment: The craftsmen begin by placing the countertops in their designated positions. They pay close attention to alignment, ensuring that each piece is perfectly positioned in relation to the cabinets, walls, and other elements of the kitchen or bathroom. The countertops are then temporarily secured in place.

Seam Joining: If the installation involves multiple pieces of countertop material, the seams where these pieces meet are of particular importance. The technicians use color-matched epoxy or resin to bond the pieces together. This adhesive not only secures the pieces but also helps in making the seams virtually disappear. The craftsmen apply the adhesive carefully, ensuring that it fills the seam completely without overflowing onto the surface.

Pre-Installation Assessment: Before the actual installation, craftsmen typically conduct a thorough assessment of the installation site. This involves measuring the area where the countertops will be placed, checking the level and stability of the cabinets, and ensuring that the space is ready for a new installation. Any necessary adjustments or preparations are made during this stage.

Transport and Handling: The cut and finished countertops are carefully transported to the installation site. This step requires careful handling to protect the edges and surfaces from chips or scratches. The craftsmen use specialized equipment and techniques to safely move the countertops into the installation area.

Finishing the Seams: After the adhesive is applied, the technicians carefully remove any excess material and polish the seam area. This polishing helps blend the seam into the rest of the countertop, making it virtually invisible. The goal is to create a continuous, unbroken surface that looks like a single piece of material.

Securing the Countertop: Once the seams are finished and the countertops are correctly aligned, the craftsmen permanently secure the countertops to the cabinets or the installation surface. This is usually done using adhesive, brackets, or clips, ensuring that the countertop is stable and firmly anchored.

Final Inspection and Cleaning: With the countertops installed, a final inspection is conducted to ensure that everything is perfectly aligned, the seams are properly finished, and there are no defects. The installation area and the new countertops are then cleaned, removing any dust or residue from the installation process.

Customer Walk-Through: Often, the installation process concludes with a walk-through with the customer. This step allows the customer to inspect the installation, understand how to care for their new countertops, and ask any questions they might have.
